I really wish I had taken some before and after pictures of our house. It has really come a long way. I've had to be patient and just do things as I can...when I have the time and the money. :)

Last weekend we got new throw pillows, curtains, a few decorative items for the living room and the CUTEST zebra chair. While we were at TJ Maxx they were putting it out on the floor and I snatched before anyone else could. :)


A few days ago, we came home to our amazing chevron rug on the front porch. I found it on Amazon for a STEAL!! This dude is HUGE. I guess I never thought about how by 8x11 feet is!! I love how it ties the room together.



When we moved in the sliding glass door had vertical blinds. Ugh. Those things are the absolute worst. I could hardly stand them being there, but I had to wait until we got curtains.

Also, this past week we had the inside of the house painted. All the walls (everything except the girls rooms and bathroom) are Avenue Tan from Sherwin Williams.


LOVE this color. It's got a hint of olive green to it.

The girls rooms are pepto bismol hot pink and celery green.



They turned out very cute. Bright as heck, but cute. :)

{P.S. Kelsey's bedding set did not come with a dust ruffle. Anyone know where I can buy a dust ruffle all by itself??}

The next thing I will work on is my room. It has gotten zero attention since we moved in. I think I will ask for new bedding and such for my birthday. I also need to get some stuff for the living rooms walls. I also need to do some touch up work on the front porch colums and I'd like to paint the front door navy blue.
