Randompalooza

The other day I put a pot of brown beans in the crockpot before I left for work. I soaked them the night before, added some chopped bacon and turned them on low to cook before I left. I planned on coming home and having a yummy dinner of beans and corn bread. The girls were excited, too. Yummmmmm, right??


Wrong.

Ummmm...I'm not sure what happened. But, let's just say that we had mac n' cheese for dinner instead. That was probably my first and last attempt at cooking a pot of beans.

In other disasterous news...when the girls and I moved out I had to buy a new vacuum. The second time I vacuumed I sucked up my iPhone charger cord. (Not a good idea, by the way.) I turned it off as quickly as I could and promplty removed the cord. When I turned it back on it didn't smell very good and the brushes weren't turning. After some investigation it was discovered that the belt was broken. So, I went to the store and bought a new belt. How hard can it be, right?? HA! The answer to that question is: VERY!! It is very, very hard to put a new belt on a vacuum. But, have no fear...


I am not to be deterred by a challenge! I have actually turned into quite the handy-man lately.
